Gray skies and garlic scapes
Just one more post before I have to leave this glorious garden for a few weeks. If things continue to grow at the same rapid pace, we’ll return to a jungle (and some tasty things to eat, I’m guessing!)
Garlic scapes are here! I’ll cut them off before we leave to encourage root growth (and maybe stir fry them this evening)
The first coneflower bloom of the year
Firecracker (Lysimachia) frames a bright orange poker flower (torch lily)
Black raspberries – they volunteered this year!
Bush beans keep growing
This is the zucchini I planted from seed. I think it’s recovered, eh?
